Young Diplomats a.k.a YD, will be hosting a scholarship workshop this coming Friday , November 21 for high school youth in the community.
The workshop which will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Secondary School (45 Felestead Ave. ) will provide tips around accessing scholarships for high school students .
Two previous Scholarship recipients will be sharing their experience on best practices in searching and applying for scholarships .
According to Saron Sahlu, ED of Young Diplomats, two young students previously received 140 000 in scholarships combined. And they will share their success stories on the Friday session.
The YD Scholarship workshop event is open to all those in high school. “we really encourage grade 11 & 12s to come out” Saron says.
Young Diplomats is a Toronto based youth led organization working towards the empowerement of youth.
