Ethiopians Girmay Birhanu and Aberu Zenebr win the Ottawa Marathon today .
Ethiopians dominated the marathon held in Canada’s capital Ottawa.
Birhanu finished 2:08:14 ahead of one Kenyan and another Ethiopian athelete , Chele Dechasa
According to Ottawa citizen Birhanu wanted to beat the records of the race set by another Ethiopian, Yemane Tsegaye.
In the women’s race Ethiopian Aberu Zenebe finished first giving yet another victory for Ethiopia. Ethiopian women athletes win in the Ottawa Marathon for five consecutive years.
Both Birhanu and Aberu were awarded$ 30,000
