Enheed is hosting a fundraising event on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 2:30pm to 6pm at the Centre for Social Innovation – Regent Park 3rd Floor – 585 Dundas Street East Toronto, ON.
The fundraising event will highlight inspirational leaders in the community. Topics discussed will include diaspora for development and the need to reconnect with our roots. All funds raised at this event will benefit Enheed participants on their journey to Ethiopia to volunteer and explore their roots.
This event will feature Ethiopians who have volunteered abroad in the past and also organizations that have partnered to support Enheed like Cuso International and Textbooks for Change.
About Enheed
Enheed is a nonprofit organization, which works to reconnect Ethiopian-Canadian youth to their roots. One of the ways we do this is by sending a number of youth participants to Ethiopia, giving them the opportunity to experience first-hand the beauty and heritage held within the diverse communities of Ethiopia. They do this while also being of service and volunteering in local NGO’s.
