Multicultural Association of Perth -Huron celebrated its 5th Anniversary.
At a ceremony held last week in the city of Stratford, the Association remarked a milestone of 5 years of community services .
From translation to advocacy and home based care , the association have helped hundreds of newcomers to Canada .
The founder and president of the association Dr. Gezahegn Wordofa told the gathering that his personal endeavor to lift the agency to this point would have been in vain with out the support he received from all stake holders donors and volunteers.
“Real impact is evidenced” says Gezahegn in an exclusive interview with ethiofidel .He invites newcomer communities in the area to make use of the services the Association is rendering .
A line of speakers including politicians applauded the Association for the services .
Well known Ethiopian traditional singers and couples Eyerusalem Dubale and Abebe Befekadu performed traditional songs in the evening .
