በናታን ፊሊፕ ስኩወር እና ኩዊንስ ፓርክ የሙሉ ቀን ዝግጅት ይደረጋል

On July 1, 1867 four provinces joined in a confederation to form the present day Canada .
July 1st has been celebrated as Canada Day for several years after .
This year Canada is commemorating the day with added extravaganza . Some parts of the celebration have been underway for the entire month of June.
Besides the much anticipated Canada 150 celebration in the capital Otawwa, there will be full day celebrations at Natan Philips Square and Queens Park in Toronto . Most events will culminate with fire works in the evenings until monday .
Eaton Centre, Square One, Pacific Mall, Vaughan Mills, Toronto Premium Outlets and St. Lawrence Market will remain open for the long weekend shoppers.
