The Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Toronto donates $50,000 (Fifty Thousand) Canadian Dollar in response to the urgent rescue request by the Ethiopian people to fight the spread of Covid-19.

According to a statement by the Board of Directors of the Church, The donation will be sent to Ethiopia through Ethiopian Evangelical Churches Fellowship in Canada along with fund collected from other members of the Ethiopian Evangelical Churches Fellowship in Canada.
The church affirmed that It will continue its prayer for the containment of Covid-19 as well as for those who are infected .
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church in Toronto (EECT) praises actions taken by the federal government of Ethiopia, the various levels of local governments, the religious and community organizations and individuals to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Ethiopia.
