Ethiopian Orthodox Church bishop ,His Eminence Abune Melke Tsedeq passed away. His Holines, Melketsedeq passed away at the age of 97 .
The bishop was currently serving the Ethiopian Orthodox church in the United states where he helped establish several churches.
ብፁዕ አቡነ መልከ ጼዴቅ አረፉ
ለበርካታ አመታት የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያንን ያገለጉሉት ብፁዕ አቡነ መልከ ጼዴቅ በ 97 አመታቸው ነው ያረፉት ።የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን ቴሌቪዥን እንደዘገበው ብፁዕ አቡነ መልከ ጼዴቅ በበርካታ አገራት በመዘዋወር ከፍተኛ መንፈሳዊ ትምህርቶችን አጠናቀዋል ።
በቅድስት ሥላሴ መንፈሳዊ ትምህርት ቤት በመምህርነት ተመድበውም አገልግለዋል።በሰሜን አሜሪካ በኒውዮርክ ጽዮን ቅድስት ማርያምን ቤተ ክርስቲያንን እና በሌሎችም አብያተክርስቲያናትን በማቋቋም እና በማደራጀት ሰፊ አገልግሎት ሰጥተዋል ፡፡ ብፁነታቸው ከ 10 የሚበልጡ መጻሕፍትንም ለቤተ ክርስቲያን አበርክተዋል ለዚህም በርካታ ሽልማቶችን ተቀብለዋል ።
Melketsedeq who served in several Ethiopian Orthodox churches across countries has been a highly regarded spiritual figure in the church .
According to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church TV , the late Melketsedeq wrote more than 10 spiritual books on a variety of topics.
Known for his vast spiritual knowledge, Melketsedeq recieved higher education in spirituality and mentored scores of young people by offering spiritual guidance .
