The multiple Award winner Canadian singer and songwritter Abel Tesfaye -The weeknd decides to boycott the Grammy Awards .
The Weeknd announced yesterday that he is not sending his music for the Grammys saying Grammy is not transparent .

The Weeknd did not get any nominations this year for the Grammy Awards that is set to take place tonight at 8 Pm EST.
In a statement he sent to the New York Times, The Weeknd said he would no longer submit his music to the Grammys due to the Secret Committees . The secret committees are the ones who give the final decision on Grammy Awards.
The top charting musician Abel Tesfaye’s “Blinding Lights” was expected to win the Grammys . The song made history by staying on Hot 100 top 10 on Billboard chart for a year.
Other big name artists are also protesting the Grammy for what they said is an unfair treatment .
