A new album by Haccalu Hundessa, the popular Ethiopian artist who was killed last year, is set to be released.
The new album titled “Maal Mallisaa”( What is the solution?) will be released next week . Speaking to BBC Afan Oromo Services, the wife of the late artist Haccalu says “I know people’s feeling for him, I hope they will get comfort listening to his voice”.
የዝነኛው ድምፃዊ ሃጫሉ ሁንዴሳ ባለቤት ወይዘሮ ፋንቱ ደምሴ ለቢቢሲ አፋን ኦሮሞ ፥ ድምፃዊ ሀጫሉ ሁንዴሳ ህይወቱ ከማለፉ በፊት ሰርቶ ያጠናቀቀው ሙሉ አልበም በሚቀጥለው ሳምንት ይለቀቃል ብለዋል።
ወ/ሮ ፋንቱ ደምሴ ፥ የፊታችን ሰኞ ድምፃዊ ሀጫሉ ሁንዴሳ በ34 ዓመቱ ከተገደለ 1 ዓመት እንደሚሆነው አስታውሰዋል። “ህዝቡ ለእሱ ያለውን ስሜት አውቃለሁ፤ ድምፁን መስማት ያፅናናቸዋል ብዬ አስባለሁ” ብለዋል።
ወ/ሮ ፋንቱ የድምፃዊ ሃጫሉ አዲሱ (3ኛው) አልበም ከመሞቱ ብዙም ሳይቆይ በፊት የተቀዱ ስራዎች እንዳሉት ተናገረዋል። አዲሱ አልበም “Maal Mallisaa” የሚሰኝ ሲሆን የአማርኛ ትርጉሙ “መፍትሄው ምንድነው ?” የሚል ነው።
አልበሙ በ iTunes ላይ በመግዛት ማዳመጥ ይቻላል።ከቀጣይ ሳምንት ጀምሮ በተለያዩ ከተሞች በCD ለገበያ ይቀርባል።
ድምፃዊ ሃጫሉ ሰኔ 22 ቀን 2012 ዓ/ም ምሽት በሰው እጅ በጥይት ተመቶ መገደሉ ይታወሳል።

Known by millions for his popular music in the Oromo language Haccalu Hundessa was a talent gone too soon.
The 34 years old popular oromo singer was shot dead in Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa. The news of his assassination sent shock and anger among Ethiopians all over the world.
Several Oromo youth who considered Hachalu as an icon were enraged by his killings. They have been demanding justice for the artist whom they consider the voice of the struggle for democracy and human rights.
Following the death of Hachalu, hundreds of people have been killed and properties were severely damaged.
