A group of young Ethiopian Canadian women were seen chanting the Ethiopian New year song on Toronto’s Danforth avenue . Following the new year tradition back home of young girls going to every house to sing “Abebayehosh ” , Toronto’s Ethiopian youth did the same thing.
They were dressed with beautifully designed Ethiopian traditional attires.
Beyond the custom and music, these Ethiopian Canadian women wanted to raise money for an Ethiopian based charity that helps people with cancer.
All the proceeds would go to an Ethiopian based charitable organization, “Tesfa Addis”. http://tapcco.org/
Organizers told ethiofidel that they raised money for another charity the same way last year.
በካናዳ ቶሮንቶ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮ ካናዳውያን አዲስ አመትን አስመልክተው የ ካንሰር ህሙማንን ለሚረዳ ድርጅት የገንዘብ ማሰባስብ አደረጉ።
በአገር ባህል ልብስ አምረው የወጡት ታዳጊ እና ወጣት ሴቶች በተለያዩ የኢትዬጽያ እና ኤርትራ ንግድ ቤቶች በመዘዋወር አበባየሆሽ በመጨፈር ነው የገቢ ማሰባሰቡን ያደረጉት።
አዘጋጆቹ ለኢትዮ ፊደል እንደገለፁት በዚህ አዲስ አመት የሚያሰባስቡትን ገንዘብ የሚረዱት ተስፋ አዲስ ለተሰኘ ግብረ ሰናይ ድርጅት ነው።
ለዚሁ ተግባር የተባበሯቸውን በሙሉ አመስግነው መልካም አዲስ አመትም ተመኝተዋል።
