Ethiopian Airlines Hosts New Year Reception for Toronto Staff and Supporters
In celebration of the Ethiopian New Year, Ethiopian Airlines in Toronto hosted a special dinner reception for its staff members and supporters in Canada.
The event took place at the Blue Nile Ethiopian Restaurant on Danforth Avenue, where the airline’s Canada Area Manager extended warm wishes for a happy, prosperous, and successful new year to all attendees.
Ethiopian Airlines has been connecting Toronto to Addis Ababa since its inaugural direct flight in 2012. Originally starting as a bi-weekly service, the airline has since expanded to offer daily flights between the two cities, further strengthening ties between Canada and sub-Saharan Africa. Ethiopian Airlines plays a key role in fostering trade partnerships between Africa and Canada, facilitating business and cultural exchanges.
Guests at the event were treated to traditional Ethiopian music, adding to the festive atmosphere of the evening.
