a recent spike in Covid-19 cases in Ontario forced the province to go back to he previous restrictions. Primiere Doug ford announced today that effective immediately, indoor private gatherings are limited to 10 people while outdoor will be 25 people .
The premier consistently expressed his dissatisfaction with the large gatherings . ” We can not have this wild parties at this time ” says Ford.
Today alone the province reported 400 new cases of COVID-19. This spike has been a recent phenomenon that sugests a second wave in the province.
Ford suggests stricter penalties of $10,000 for establishements with over crowded capacities and $750 for individuals who attended mass gatherings over the allowable limits.
Cp 24 reported that the restrictions do not apply to staffed businesses such as retaurants .
