Major road between Bloor and avenue were blocked by huge trucks and protestors on Saturday afternoon .
Protestors were chanting slogans against CIVID-19 Vaccina mandate for Truck drivers . The potestors who have been blocking streets last week in Otawwa did it in Toronto this afternoon
According to CBC , Police removed protestors after a whole day protest .
“After a full day demonstrating, the trucks and protesters who had blocked Avenue & Bloor have been safely moved out,” Interm Police Chief James Ramer wrote in a tweet.
Meanwhile a counter protest held in Toronto today praising health care workers that have been serving during the pandemic .
Participants told CBC that health care workers have been a target of hateful comments through out the pandemic and the counter protest was organized to show support to the health care workers .
