ONTARIO VOTES ! ELECTIONS ONTARIO BEGINS

Ontario’s Chief Electoral Officer Greg Essensa indicated that Writs were issued to administer a Provincial general election in June 2014.

“Returning Officers are ready to administer voting for the 41 st Provincial General Election in 107 electoral districts throughout Ontario” said Essensa

And electors have28 days to vote beginning Thursday, May 15. Canadian citizens who live in Ontario and are at least 18 years of age or older on election day are eligible to vote in their electoral district of residence

Elections_Ontario_logoTo be added to the Voters List, an elector must show at least one piece of identification that includes their name and residential address.
The candidate nomination period begins Thursday, May 15, 2014 and ends at 2 PM (ET) on Thursday, May 22,2014.
There are many ways to vote. Electors can vote from 9AM to 9 PM ET on election day, Thursday June 12 2014.

Electors can vote at an advance poll from 10 AM to *Pm (ET Saturday May 31, 2014 to Friday June 6, 2014. Assistive voting technology is available at each local returning offices. Electors can vote by special ballot in person at their local returning office or by mail.

Electors must apply for their special ballot voting kit no later than 6 PM (ET) on Friday June 6, 2014
