It was a real home coming for Ethiopia’s long serving Artist and Activist Tamagn Beyene .
Tamagn arrived at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa . He was greeted by government officials , fellow artists and residents of Addis who have been waiting for his home coming .
Tamagn Beyene is a well respected figure in Ethiopoa’s diaspora where he spoke on several occassions pressing for Ethioian nationalism , human rights and equality.
Accompanied by his wife Fantish bekele, Tamagn came back to Ethiopia following a recent call by the prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed. He also met his mother after 22 years .
ታማኝ የኢትዮጵያ የሙዚቃ ንጉስ በመባል የሚታወቀው የ አርቲስት ጥላሁን ገሰሰ መካነ መቃብር ላይ የ አበባ ጉንጉን አኑሯል፥፥
ለ 22 አመታት በስደት ሲኖር ከተለያቸው ወላጅ እናቱም ጋር ተገናኝቷል::
ጠቅላይ ሚንስትር አብይ አህመድ በጀመሩት የ ይቅርታ መንፈስ በርካታ በስደት የቆዩ ግለሰቦች ወደ ኢትዮጵያ በመመለስ ላይ ናቸው፥፥
