President of the Regional state of Oromia, Lemma Megersa received a role model award in Addis Ababa.
የኦሮሚያ ብሄራዊ ክልላዊ መንግስት ርዕሰ መስተዳድር አቶ ለማ መገርሳ የ2010 የበጎ ሰው ልዪ ሽልማት ተሸላሚ ሆኑ።አቶ ለማ የ2010 የበጎ ሰው ልዪ ሽልማት ከተቀበሉ በኋላ በመጠፋፋት መኖር እርግማን ነው ካሁን በኋላ የጥፋት ፖለቲካ ይቅርብን ብለዋል፡፡
“የኛ ሃገር ፖለቲካ ሸር የተሞላበት ክፋት የተሞላበት ፖለቲካ ነው፡፡ ይሄ ክፉ ልማዳችን ብዙዎችን ንፁሃን ኢትዮጵያውያንን በልቷል አምክኗል፡፡ይህ ክፉ የፖለቲካ ባህል ይቀየር” ሲሉም ኣሳስበዋል
አባቴ ያወረሰኝ ትልቅ ውርስ ራስን መሆን ነውም ብለዋል ፡፡
The annual “Bego sew” awarded behind the scene leader of the recent change in the Ethiopian politics, A visionary leader of Ethiopia’s Region, Oromia, Lemma Megersa . The award organized by the well known writer Decon Daniel Kibret gave this year’s award to Lemma megersa to his contribution to Ethiopia’s stability and development . It was mentioned during the ceremony transmitted live on social media that Lemma was a key figure in the recent changes that are happening in Ethiopia . The speech reckoned Lemma as a prime force to reinvigorate the some how weakened Ethiopian nationalism .
Lemma called on the public to stand against the politics of sabotage and intensify the ongoing change .
President Lemma is known for his articulation of Ethiopianisim and avid advocacy of peace and democracy in Ethiopia .
political observers in Ethiopia consider him as a king maker citing his role in helping the popular Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. The prime minister acknowledged Lemma’s political mentorship during their visit their visit to the United States .
Several other individuals who contributed to the society were awarded at the ceremony . Last Year, the award recognized prominent individuals including the famous political science professor and the leader of the Oromo Federalist Congress, Professor Merrara Gudina.
