The faithful came out in numbers to the church to celebrate the day wearing all traditional and religious outfits signifying the Ethiopian Orthodox faith .
Toronto has one of the largest Ethiopian population in North America and the festival was celebrated in other Ethiopian and Eritrean Orthodox churches across North America.
