Ontario Puts Tougher Restrictions After 939 new cases of COVID-19 Today

Ontario imposes strict measures in Toronto, Ottawa and Peel Region after a spike in COVID-19. The province reports a record high of 939 cases today.

 In a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19 , Ontario is now stoping indoor dining at restaurants and bars and is closing Gyms and movie theaters as well as Casinos.

CBC reported that the strict measures will be in effect for 28 days.

Schools , day care centers and places of worships will not be affected by the recent measure .

Premier Doug Ford urges the public not to leave their home unless there is essential task to do .

Ontario reports a total number of 57,681 cases since the begining of the pandemic in January.
