The prominent Ethiopian record label owner Ali Kelifa better known as Ali Tango passed away in the United States where he was receiving medical treatment . Ali was 79 and is survived by his wife and 12 daughters.

የኢትዮጵያ ሙዚቃ ባለውለታ የሆኑት ዓሊ አብደላ ኬይፋ (አሊ ታንጎ) ባደረባቸው ህመም አሜሪካ በህክምና ሲረዱ ቆይተው ነው በትላንትናው እለት ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት የተለዩት። ከየመናዊ አባታቸው እና ከኢትዮጵያዊት እናታቸው በጅማ ከተማ የተወለዱት ዓሊ የጥላሁን ገሠሠን : አሊ ቢራ አስቴር አወቀ፣ መሀሙድ አህመድ፣ ሐመልማል አባተ፣ ብዙነሽ በቀለ፣ የሂሩት በቀለ፣ ነዋይ ደበበ፣ አለማየሁ እሸቴ፣ ኃይሉ ዲሳሳ፣ ገመቹ ኢታና እና የሌሎች የበርካታ ዘፋኞችን ሸክላና ካሴት በማሳተም በሕዝብ ዘንድ ተወዳጅና ታዋቂ እንዲሆኑ በማድረግ የላቀ ድርሻ አላቸው።አሊ ታንጎ ባለትዳር እና የ12 ልጆች አባት ነበሩ።
እንደ ኢቢሲ ዘገባ ዓሊ አብደላ ኬይፋ በአሜሪካ ሲያትል ዋሽንግተን በሚገኝ የሙስሊም መቃብር ስፍራ የቀብር ስነ-ስርአታቸው ተፈፅሟል።
Ali produced several records in Ethiopia since the 1970s . His recording label Kalifa Records and his music store Tango music shop stood out as pillars in Ethiopia’s modern music .
Ali Tango records musics of famous Ethiopian singers including Alemayehu Eshete, Aster Aweke, Bizunesh Belele, Aselefech Ashne, ALi Birra, Neway Debede and others. He is remembered as an enabler helping Ethiopian musicians to succeed .
Ali was born in Ethiopia, Jimma from an Ethiopian mother and a Yemeni father
