His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.

According to CBC news, the prince conducted more than 22,000 solo engagements and made 5,500 speeches.
He was married to Queen Elizabeth in 1947. The Queen calls Philip “her strength and stay”.
