The popular Ethiopian music icon Tewodros Kassahun most known as Teddy Afro, received honorary doctorate from Gondor University in Ethiopia.

የጎንደር ዩኒቨርስቲ በዛሬው ዕለት ለአርቲስት ቴዎድሮስ ካሳሁን (ቴዲ አፍሮ) የክብር ዶክትሬት ዲግሪ አበርክቷል፡፡
ኢትዬጽያውያን ከምንግዜውም በላይ አንድነታቸውን ሊያጠናክሩ እንደሚገባ ቴዲ አፍሮ ተናግሯል ።
ዩኒቨርስቲው በዕለቱ ከ6 ሺህ በላይ ተማሪዎችን አስመርቋል፡፡ ጎንደር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከዚህ ቀደም ለ ድምፃዊት አስቴር አወቀም የ ክብር ዶክትሬት መስጠቱ ይታወሳል።
The university awarded the honorary doctorate to Teddy Afro during its graduation ceremony for his contributon to Ethiopian music and nation building as well as humanitarian work .
The Billboard chart title holder ,Teddy Afro, who atended with his family took the podium to call on his fellow citizens to stay united during the current difficult time .
