Ethiopia calls up on its diaspora citizens to come home for Ethiopian christmass in January .
The Press Secretary of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed , Bilene Seyoum challanged one million Ethiopians to come home for January 7 ,2022 to celebrate christmas.
During a press conference regarding the current situation in the country , Bilene asked one million diaspora community to return home for the upcoming Ethiopian christmas in January.
Contorary to the repetitive narrative by some western conutries that portray Ethiopia as unsafe to travel, Ethiopia called on its people to come to a safe and calm situation in the country.
Ethiopians and other African countries defied what they called ” a false alarm by western countries ” that asked their citizens to leave Ethiopia. Countries including Canada urged their citizens to leave Ethiopia claiming that the rebel forces are advancing to the capital Addis Ababa .
In the #nomore movement that goes viral in many countries around the world , people are protesting the interferance by US and other western nations in the affairs of Ethiopia.
