A woman was arrested and charged with first degree murder in connection to the fatal stabbing of the 37 years old Elsabet Yitayew in Toronto .
In a press statement, Toronto police said they responded to a stabbing on New years Eve around Weston Road and Dennis Avenue whre they found Elsabet suffering from stab wounds.
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a homicide investigation.
The victim , identified as Elsabet Yitayew succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
A woman was arrested at the scene. Temeka Dorsett, 32, of Toronto, has been charged with First Degree Murder. She attend virtually at Old City Hall court on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
