Adwa Vicory has been celebrated throiugh out Ethiopia and abroad remebering the Ethiopian Patriots who defeted Italian colonizers in 1896.

የአድዋ ድል በ አጼ ሚኒሊክ እና እቴጌ ጣይቱ አስተባባሪነት መላው የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ የተሳተፈበት ድል እንደነበር የጠቀሱት የ በአሉ ተሳታፊዎች ይህኛው ትውልድም በ ዘመኑ የሚገጥመውን ችግር ለመፍታት በ አንድ ሊተባበር እንደሚገባ ተናግረዋል
Several Ethiopians gathered around Emperor Minilik’s statue in Addis Ababa and in other venues to celebrate the 126th anniversary of the victory of Adwa . The events displayed heightened nationalism and called for enhanced unity among Ethiopians to face present day challenges.
Ethiopian Canadians also celebrated Adwa Victory in Toronto . They gathered at the Ethiopian Association in Toronto over the weekend to celebrate the victory of Ethiopia over the colonial forces of Italy in 1896.
The victory of Adwa is a significant milestone in Black History as it heralded the anti colonial movement across Africa and helped Ethiopia to remain a country that has never been colonized .
