Ethiopian Traditional music artists (“Azemaris”) performed in Toronto
The legendary Masinko player and musician Abebe Fikade. and the golden voice Mimi Zenebe played a variety of Ethiopian songs backed by Bereket Tekabu on drum .

The performance was part of the International Fiddle festival in Toronto organized by Batuki music society.
Artistic Director of Batuki, Nadine McNulty said on the occasion that the “Azemaris” play an important role in the Ethiopian music industry.
Abebe and Mimi have had travelled to different countries to showcase Ethiopian traditional music . The Masinko is a one string traditional Ethiopian instrument. click the link below for the video
