Canadians re elected Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the 3rd term
After casting their votes on Monday Canadians decided to Justin Trudeau’s minority government in power .
“Thank you, Canada — for casting your vote, for putting your trust in the Liberal team, for choosing a brighter future. We’re going to finish the fight against COVID. And we’re going to move Canada forward. For everyone.” wrote Trudeau on his social media
Analysts told CBC news that this is an indication as to how voters are satisfied with the government’s handling of the pandemic .
Trudeau was heavily criticized for calling an expensive election of 600 million dollar in the middle of the pandemic .
The same minority government and seat composition will continue in Canada’s parliament .
