Ethiopian Airlines resumes flying Boeing 737 Max after an extended pause on operating the aircraft due to the tragic accidents in 2019.
Africa’s largest aviation group, flew its Boeing 737 Max jet for the first time on Tuesday since 2019.
The Airlines put the Boeing 737 Max back to the skies in the presence of the Airline’s officials and guests .
“Safety is the top most priority at Ethiopian Airlines and it guides every decision we make and all actions we take,” says Tewolde Gebremariam, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines.

አቶ ተወልደ ገብረማርያም፣ የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ዋና ስራ አስፈጻሚ የቦይንግ 737 ማክስ አውሮፕላንን ወደ አገልግሎት መመለስ አስመልክተው ፥ “የበረራ ደህንነት የአየር መንገዳችን ተቀዳሚና ወሳኝ ጉዳይ ነው፤ እያንዳንዷ የምንሰራት ስራና የምንወስናት ውሳኔ በበረራ ደህንነት አብይ ጉዳይ የተቃኘ ነው። በዚህ መርህ ላይ በመመስረት ነው ዛሬ ቦይንግ 737 ማክስ አውሮፕላናችንን ወደ አገልግሎት የመለስነው።” ብለዋል።
