Travelers to Canada will be Required to Show Negative COVID-19 Results As of January 7

Canada is requiring travellers to show negative COVID-19 test before entering the country.

ካናዳ ወደ ኣገሯ የሚገቡ መንገደኞች ሁሉ ከ ኮቪድ ነጻ የምርመራ ውጤት ይዘው እንዲመጡ ልትጠይቅ ነው ፥ ፥ ከ ጃንዋሪ 7 ኣንስቶ ማንኛውም ካናዳ የሚገባ ሰው ከ 72 ሰኣታት በፊት ምርመራ ያደረገበትን ውጤት ማሳየት ኣለበትAny one coming to Canada aged 5 and above will be l required to have a negative COVID-19 test before even boarding their flight to Canada.

The measure which will start on January 7 is aimed at curbing the rising spread of COVID-19 in Canada.

Global news reported that the test needs to be done 72 hours prior to the scheduled flight to Canada and has to be provided by an accredited lab. Travellers have to carry a paper or electronic proof of the results.

If there were no testing facilities prior to their departure and was unable to get tested, travellers will be required to quarantine in one of the government’s quarantine sites.

All the COVID-19 precautions such as wearing a mask measuring temperature and physical distancing will still be in effects

Canada has recently been recording high number of people infected with COVID-90along with a soaring number of COVID related death.
